I am getting this tar -zxvf /path/To/VMware-Workstation-xxx.tar.gz
tar: /path/To/VMware-Workstation-xxx.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

what I copy and paste tar command on here. can someone help me

Great tutorial. I was able to get VM Workstation 6.04 running on Unbuntu 8.04 without any issues.

kashani you need to download vmware kernel batch files from http://knihovny.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/vmware-any-any-update115.tar.gz, exctract the archive and run ./runme.pl, if you still have problem installing let me know

This wont redirect all traffic to another webserver, it will redirect /exchange to http://mail.domain.com.

If I read this correct it will redirect all traffic to another webserver ? What if you only want the /exchange to be redirected ?

find out first device name in /dev.
# fdisk -l ( -l = list devices)

then use dd comment to create iso image.

# dd if=/dev/device_name of=myiso.iso

if= input file
of= output file

Ho do you make iso image of a removable media which is not a CD or DVD ?
For example if you want to make an iso image of a device whose file system is known but for any reason it’s not mountable so I can’t use mkisofs.
